The Sudanese dinar was the currency for Sudan.

The currency code for the Sudanese dinar is SDD. The currency symbol used is LSd or £Sd.

The Sudanese dinar was first seen in 1992 replacing the Sudanese pound. In 2007 a second Sudanese pound was introduced – and after a 6 month transitional period, replaced the dinar.
